SENIOR TECHNICIAN, I-C (POWER GENERATION)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Supervise technicians and participate in performing maintenance and installation tasks on parts or the
entirety of the instrument & control system within the assigned areas of the Power Generation & Utility
plants. Ensure that all work adheres to safety protocols and complies with the Company’s Standards,
Codes, and Practices.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualification

• Technical Secondary education/ Diploma or equivalent in Instrumentation and control

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
a) Minimum Experience

• 4 years’ experience in Instrument-Control Maintenance in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical
  industry

b) Knowledge & Skills

• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Good Coordination Skills
• Good analytical skills with attention to details, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

• Certification on calibration.
• Maintenance & Inspection of EX equipment (Hazardous area) is preferred.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

• Good knowledge in reading drawings (P&IDs, ILD, hook-up, Cause & Effect Diagram, etc.) and
  documents (datasheet, operation and maintenance manual, etc.)
