This role is required to support the company from both an Asset Management and Business
Development/ Mergers and Acquisition perspective. The primary focus areas for this role are to review and
challenge operator provided life of development cost estimates and schedules providing independent estimates
where appropriate. Support is additionally required within the Business Development/ Mergers and Acquisition
teams to perform technical due diligence on upstream international growth opportunities. Key accountabilities
for this role are:

  • Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
  • Develop and review cost estimates for JV projects and business development opportunities.
  • Review and manage operator provided project budgets highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Monitor and report on budget variances and cost overruns.
  • Financial Analysis:
  • Provide technical inputs to support detailed financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of project plans and engineering solutions.
  • Review cost and schedule forecasts for NOJV projects and acquisition opportunities.
  • Cost Control and Management:
  • Support the operator to implement cost control measures to ensure projects stay within budget.
  • Track and review expenditures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with JV agreements.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare regular financial reports and updates for stakeholders.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify, assess financial risks associated with JV projects and propose strategies to mitigate financial
    risks.
  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Liaise with the operator and other JV partners to stay informed about project progress.
  • Facilitate financial discussions and meetings between JV partners.
  • Communicate financial performance and issues to senior management.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all financial activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
