The Curatorial Specialist functions as an expert in an area of specialization and develops and maintains relationships with academic units and professional organizations; responsibilities may include curating of collections and special exhibitions, including research, interpretation, and dissemination; programming related to collections and exhibitions; and teaching in area of specialization; develops alumni and constituent relationships in support of fund-raising efforts. Duties are performed at various levels within the defined title.
