Identify and produce creative and engaging content to support Samaritans’ digital communications objectives
Produce engaging digital content and resources for use across the website, ranging from video, photography, graphics, audio and other multimedia for all of our digital channels to support day to-day activity and campaigns
Storyboard, self-shoot and edit video content to support day-to-day activity and campaigns
Take briefs, brainstorm solutions, present roughs or visuals, research and manage production, self-shoot, respond to feedback and deliver final content to teams on time and to budget
Work with the Head of Digital to identify and prioritize organizational digital content needs and contribute to our content strategy
To work with freelancers and agencies on additional requests where necessary
Contribute to departmental editorial calendars and team project management tools to identify content needs, gaps and requirements and to plan and schedule new content accordingly
Work with the Head of Digital to identify opportunities and pilot new digital content formats and/or platforms
Attendance at events and campaign launches will be necessary from time to time to capture content – a flexible approach to travel and non-standard working hours is required Respond and deliver on volunteer / branch requests for digital content development
Respond to all digital content and production requests received from volunteers and branches
Produce and amend digital content for use by Samaritans branches, in line with briefs and deadlines.
