Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality/Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, preferably in a reputable Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, with exceptional knowledge of standard hospitality practices, procedures, and customer service.
- Excellent skills in catering, events, and hospitality services, with good communication skills and certification in Essential Food Safety Training (EFST) and HACCP (Level 4) Principles and Practices being an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office, with a working knowledge of ERP, SAP, etc.
Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Senior Catering & Accommodation In-charge in following the annual business plan for Camps Catering Services at Company Site.
- Supervise, oversee, and facilitate catering, refreshment arrangements, and event services.
- Coordinate food preparation and presentation, monitor inventory, communicate with other service providers, ensure kitchen sanitation compliance, and provide excellent customer service to employees in Company Site Accommodations.
- Ensure the use of catering & refreshments management budget as per approved OPEX.
- Raise PRs and follow new projects from CAPEX related to new kitchen equipment. Follow Notifications & WOs for catering. Execute TECO in SAP for all Notifications & WOs.
- Responsible for overseeing 4 major camps (PLQ, Ops camp, PMT as routine) and Pioneer during extraordinary requirements. Camps are scattered around 80 km distance.
- Accountable for all site catering arrangements (Gas plant MCB, 2 Messes, W/shop, Sulphur station, and any temporary requirement at well pad areas).
- Handle extra manpower for Shutdown (additional ~ 500-700) for refreshment arrangements and tent facilities.
- Supervise and coordinate all food-related services in camps, events, and operations.
- Develop plans for catering and event services within budget and prepare expenditure forecasts for Site Management review and approval.
- Organize and coordinate event timelines, ensuring smooth and efficient service operations. Oversee décor set-up, catering, and kitchen staff for food processing, etc.
- Plan and execute special Company functions and catering services in various site locations, including VIP functions and any special events.
- Monitor daily/special menu composition to ensure the provision of a variety of high-quality food items by contractors as per the catering contract.
- Check the quantity and quality of supplies and equipment regularly to ensure stock availability as per the catering contract.
- Liaise with HSE regularly for health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Implement HACCP and other safety requirements.
- Maintain and review restaurant health & safety control policies. Control overall catering premises, maintenance, and cleanliness to prescribed standards. Recommend improvements to services based on customer feedback.
- Monthly monitoring of Catering Contractor KPIs is prepared and submitted to the contract department for payment procedures.
- Ensure the security of the kitchen, stores, and surroundings is always monitored according to COMPANY standards.
- Oversee and monitor stock levels and rotation, ensuring compliance with given targets and objectives.
- Ensure the effective operation of restaurants/kitchens, delivering high-quality catering services in all venues.
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of catering, including meetings with employees, service activities, sanitation, and fiscal responsibilities.
- Monitor and supervise the allocation of catering contractor staff duties as defined in the catering service.
- Review menus and food within the scope of work, monitoring and supervising contractor staff.
- Review SOW for major services to ensure the quality and professional integrity of catering services with emphasis on customer satisfaction, fair remuneration, and housing facilities for contractors’ personnel in conformity with HSE standards. Conduct benchmarking surveys with other OPCOs to secure consistency of requirements.
- Administer service contracts, ensuring cost-effective implementation and adherence to the Agreement T&C. Monitor contract performance, addressing issues and deviations.
- Evaluate vendor performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and monitor services contractor performance for compliance with the Agreement T&C and Scope. Ensure proper implementation of plans by contractors as approved by Site Management.
- Review and monitor daily maintenance in facilities, utilities, and amenities in Company Site Camps to maintain high standards and compliance with operating procedures.
- Coordinate with P&S Contracts Management Team to ensure compliance and proper implementation of Agreement T&C, SOW, and Pricing Schedule.
- Provide guidelines and supervision to contractors, ensuring tasks are implemented in a timely manner within the allocation budget and in compliance with HSE Policies.
- Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices, and COMPANY Code of Practices.
