TECHNICIAN, I-C (POWER GENERATION)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Conduct preventive, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance, as well as calibration, repair, and
testing of control instrumentation and systems within the Power Generation & Utility Plant areas,
following applicable procedures and guidelines.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualification

• Secondary Technical Certificate with Diploma in Instrumentation

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
a) Minimum Experience

• 3 years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of pneumatic and electronic
  instrumentation in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry

b) Knowledge & Skills

• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Good analytical skills with attention to details, and problem-solving skills
• Good Coordination Skills

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

• Maintenance & Inspection of EX equipment (Hazardous area) is preferable.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

• Good knowledge in reading drawings (P&IDs, ILD, hook-up, Cause & Effect Diagram, etc.) and
  documents (datasheet, operation and maintenance manual, etc.)
