- Arrange & oversee off-loading of delivery vehicles.
- Receive & preserve all the inspection documents.
- Conduct Standard receipt inspection & note if there are any deviations.
- Assist in initiating the discrepancy reports with the Warehouse Operations staff.
- Verify, Maintain & Track the Receipt documentation & Certificates received and to offer for inspections and or for any requirements.
- Inspect an item in order to verify administrative compliance with the Purchase Order/ Task Order, Part Number, quantity, inspection for shipping damage, and supplier documentation.
- After completing the inspection, ensure the items are properly Labelled.
- Should be able to correlate the Item with the Label.
- Should be able to generate the Labels if required.
- Ensures the contents on the Label are correct.
- Ensure that materials received confirm to PO/ TO requirements.
- Receive & preserve all the Materials as per the requirements.
- Physically Capable to lift up to 15-20 Kgs if necessary.
- Maintain the spares in good condition.
- Ensure the materials are appropriately packed/ sealed.
- Ensure the Material storage as per the Classification & requirement.
- Monitor & ensure the Material free from Foreign Material to prevent entering plant systems and equipment.
- Physical strength to handle up to 15 Kgs object, frequently. Some items weighing up to 20 Kgs to be handled occasionally.
- Kneeling, Bending, Standing, Pushing, Pulling, climbing & walking is required for most of the shift
- Sight with ability to distinguish color; perception of sound is required; ability to communicate in English verbally and in written form.
- Experience working with an inventory and warehouse management system. SAP is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use hand tools and ladders in accordance with Company safety standards.
- Good in English communications skills verbal and written with IELT proficiency at least level 4 or level5
- Experience in Handling of the Dangerous Goods materials.
- Effective verbal & written communication in English
- GCSE “O” level or equivalent qualification is essential and possesses a good knowledge in speaking, reading and writing English.
- Experience in Labelling of spare Parts is essential at least in 2 projects/ major industrial organizations.
- 5 -8 years practical experience in principles of material handling in a major industrial organization. Forklift license is an advantage.
- Should have experience in operating the Reach Trucks, Stackers, Pallet Jacks etc.
- Knowledge of computer-MS office, Word, and Excel.
- Working knowledge in SAP MM/WM Module is preferable.
